Screen Printing vs. Ultra Print: What’s the Difference?
We believe in the power of a custom shirt! Through our custom screen printing and Ultra Print services, we’ll turn your creative ideas into a design you’ll love. Whether you’re looking for t-shirts or other apparel for a sports team, company, summer camp, or event, we’re here to help. But, when it comes to printing, what’s the difference between screen printing and Ultra Print, and why does it matter?
Screen Printing
The screen printing process is an affordable option if you’re ordering a large amount of shirts on a budget. A silk screen with your design is placed on the shirt, and the ink is dragged across the shirt using a squeegee-like tool to transfer the design. Because this process is more involved than digital printing, it takes longer, but we’re dedicated to getting your custom apparel order done as fast as possible.
Have your own design ready to go? Great! Need a little help with the artwork? We’re happy to help. We offer free 15-minute design consultations with our experts to help create your perfect design. For personal or corporate apparel, we can make the process even easier by providing you with thousands of styles and brands to choose from. Looking professional is essential
Whether you need 20, 200, or 2,000 custom shirts, our screen printing process and design expertise ensures you’ll get custom apparel that you and those a part of your crew will love.
Ultra Print
Similar to screen printing, Ultra Print is a manual process that involves applying ink through a specialty transfer sheet. The ink is transferred using pressurized heat, which results in bolder, brighter colors.
If you want a design with multiple, vibrant colors that pop, Ultra Print is the better selection for you. It works best with darker colors as well—our Color Wall inventory helps you get a good look at all of our options and what will work best with your design.
If you’re unsure about which type of custom apparel application is best for you or your business, just ask! Depending on your desired design and colors, we’ll select the best option for you.
