Big Frog Supports Small Businesses with “Shop Local All the Way” Campaign
Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More showed its deep commitment to supporting small businesses with the launch of its six-month-long “Shop Local All the Way” campaign.
The marketing campaign aimed to inspire communities to “shop local” and provide a platform for small businesses to share their brand stories. The grassroots marketing campaign was launched in October 2021 in response to growing support for small businesses affected heavily by the pandemic.
Big Frog Inspires to Shop Local
“We have seen communities step up to support small businesses and help them stay open when temporary closures were required due to the pandemic. Big Frog was extremely lucky as we have a strong community presence as a brand, so our customers continued to patronize and support us throughout the challenging times,” says Big Frog Franchise Group President & CEO Tina Bacon-DeFrece. “As our way of giving back to our community, we launched the ‘Shop Local All the Way’ campaign to pay it forward and help other small businesses.”
The campaign included a nomination for “Favorite Small Businesses” to give customers a chance to nominate locally-owned businesses so they may win amazing prizes, such as special swag items and social media and blog spotlights. A few lucky small businesses also won a Direct-to-Garment Printing voucher to help them with their business custom apparel branding needs.
Live Streaming Interviews
A concrete way Big Frog has shown support to small businesses is by launching a live streaming interview series that featured Big Frog and small business owner guests. Hosted by Tina, the series gave local business owners a platform to share their entrepreneurial journey, discuss the many ways they are giving back to their communities, and impart valuable business lessons. One of its highlights is the diverse mix of featured businesses, from Javi’s Tacos in Omaha to Keith’s Store, a local-favorite country store in Raleigh-North, and The House of Blooms Floral Shop in Sugar Land, among others.
The “Shop Local All the Way” campaign has also reinforced an important brand message: Big Frog is 100% locally-owned and operated. “Every Big Frog store is locally-owned and operated, so by you shopping there, you are shopping local,” says Tina. “And all of our Big Frog store owners are very active in their communities, and this is truly one of the many benefits of being a Big Frog store owner as you become a leader in your community.”
