Big Frog Jumps into Downtown Round Rock

Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More jumped into Downtown Round Rock with a splash! The brand-new custom apparel shop opened in January and hosted a grand opening ribbon cutting in February with dozens of Chamber of Commerce members, business neighbors and friends, and other city representatives. Customers received a 20% discount on orders placed on ribbon cutting day.

The custom apparel shop is one of the newest businesses in the city’s downtown area, which is currently experiencing strong revitalization and growth. Big Frog is located just steps away from Round Rock’s historic and iconic water tower.

Horacio Ochoa owns the new Round Rock shop, as well as Big Frog of Northwest Austin. He and Jill Bonifield, Big Frog’s store group manager, bring more than a decade of experience together to the custom apparel decorating business. The store specializes in a variety of custom apparel decorating services such as direct-to-garment printing (DTG), screen printing, embroidery, and more. Big Frog customers get “frog-tastic” custom apparel with no minimums, no setup fees, free design help, and fast turnaround, sometimes in as little as 24 hours.

“We selected this downtown location because we want to become an integral part of this vibrant community,” said Ochoa. “We immediately received a warm welcome and an outpouring of candid positive support. I knew right then that we found the perfect neighborhood.”

Ochoa spent more than two decades in marketing for prominent consumer product and tech companies like Quaker Oats, Pepsi, and Microsoft. He and his family returned to the Austin area in 2018 to put down roots and quickly became local entrepreneurs making a difference in their community. Ochoa and Big Frog of Round Rock belong to the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the NW Austin Chamber of Commerce, and the Round Rock Chamber.
