Slow Town Custom Lures Named “Shop Local Small Business” Winner
Slow Town Custom Lures is the most recent winner in the “Shop Local All the Way” campaign, a grassroots marketing initiative launched by Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More in October 2021. The initiative aims to support small businesses and help rebuild their local economies.
Steven Barker, the owner of Slow Town Custom Lures, was a featured guest on Big Frog’s “Shop Local All the Way” Interview, which streamed live on Big Frog’s social media channels. The winner also received a $100 voucher to help with business branding, on top of marketing support through a brand spotlight on Big Frog’s social media channels. Slow Town Custom Lures won in a random drawing after having been nominated as a local business worthy of recognition and homegrown support.

“The Bentonville and NW Arkansas community as a whole has been amazing in supporting us throughout the pandemic,” said Mara Dougherty, owner of Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of NW Arkansas. “We launched the ‘Shop Local All the Way’ campaign as our way of paying forward.”
The initiative does not only aim to recognize locally owned and operated businesses, but it also gives back in a big way. “Now, our community gets to nominate their favorite small businesses for a chance to win amazing prizes, like Direct-to-Garment Printing (DTG Printing) to help them brand their business,” said John Dougherty, who co-owns Big Frog of NW Arkansas with his wife, Mara.
NOMINATE A SMALL BUSINESS
To nominate a small business, visit BIGFROG.COM/SHOP-LOCAL. One winner from each participating Big Frog location nationwide will be chosen at random each month until the Shop Local All the Way initiative concludes in April 2022.

Big Frog of NW Arkansas is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays. The store is closed on Sundays.
