It’s one of the most common—and important—questions we answer.
The truth is, your printed shirt can only be as good as the artwork you provide.
These are three real examples we’ve worked through recently:
🐶 One photo was missing part of a puppy’s ear because it had been cropped.
📱 Another image was actually a screenshot taken from a video, which dramatically reduced its quality.
🤖 A third design was created with a free AI app on a phone. It looked great on a small screen, but when enlarged to T-shirt size, it became blurry and pixelated.
We always want your custom apparel to look amazing. That’s why we sometimes have difficult conversations about artwork quality.
Here are a few tips to help us produce the best possible results:
✅ Send the original file, not a screenshot.
✅ Attach images to your email instead of copying and pasting them into the message.
✅ Avoid sending artwork through text messages whenever possible. Texting apps often compress images and reduce their quality.
✅ If you’re using AI or online design tools, download the highest-resolution version available.
✅ Whenever possible, provide vector artwork (.AI or .EPS) or high-resolution PNG files (300 DPI or higher).

If additional work is needed, graphic design is billed at $25.00 for each additional 15-minute increment. We’ll always review your artwork first, explain what’s needed, and provide an estimate before we begin.
