Big Frog did a great job on my custom polos. 48 hour turnaround, printed in Austin, they were able to use the polo shirts I brought in, no rush order fees, I got help from them in importing my design, and it was done right!
Here’s all the mistakes I made before I went to Big Frog, so that you don’t have to:
I started out with one of the OTHER websites (not Big Frog) a couple of weeks before I needed the polos. They had templates online that didn’t work with my CAD software. I figured it out but had to send in bitmaps of my logo then it turned out that the templates were 150DPI and they wanted 300DPI and then the delivery time went from 3 days to 11 days and their selection of polos was all cheap looking off-brands and it looks like the whole thing is a front for a print house in Europe???
So I tried another online place (again, not Big Frog) that claimed to be able to rush the order. Another poor selection of shirts. Another template problem. This place accepted vector file formats (good) but I wanted a front and back print, and their website was so garbage that when you enter the back print then it made the wrong size template for the front, and if you enter the front template first then it puts the wrong template on the back. Plus they were expensive and they wanted $12 per shirt to rush the order.
So I tried a third website (again, not Big Frog) which turned out to be a front for the second website but priced 20% higher, what even is that?
Finally I picked up the phone and called Big Frog. They don’t carry polo shirts in stock and invited me to bring in my own for them to print. Guess what, Target has a bunch of great polo shirts under $20. I picked up the ones I wanted and went over to Big Frog, I uploaded the graphics to them, they had a graphic designer right there who made some corrections from the freeware design tool I used (Inkscape), we agreed the design, I paid them less than the other places, and 48 hours later I had my shirts, done right.
Don’t waste your time just go to Big Frog!
