The first Canadian location<\/a> of Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More in South Edmonton delights in giving back.<\/h2>\n

\u201cWe are excited to be the very first location in Canada<\/a>,\u201d said Shannon Marowitch, who owns Big Frog of South Edmonton along with husband, Brian. \u201cWe\u2019ve built a really strong team who have helped foster our amazing culture while creating an environment our customers and our staff love to be in.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Marowitch\u2019s are no strangers to small businesses, having been long-time partners in five local Edmonton-area Boston Pizza locations. The Big Frog franchise <\/a>appealed to them because of the fun, creative, casual, and collaborative atmosphere each store generates as well as the ability to give back to the community in which they operate.<\/p>\n

T-Shirt Printer Supports Local Causes<\/h2>\n

\"ig-Frog-of-South-Edmonton-Owners-Brian-and-Shannon-Marowitch-Shop-Local\"The summer will be especially busy as Big Frog of Edmonton keeps business rolling at a fast clip while simultaneously supporting two local causes close to their hearts \u2013 animals and kids.<\/p>\n

With a donation of 400 shirts for the Edmonton Humane Society\u2019s Pets in the Park<\/a>, Big Frog will make a splash at the 30th<\/sup> annual fundraiser\u2019s fun run and day-long activities on June 26. Huge animal lovers, Shannon and Brian had so much fun hanging out with Buddy for his photo shoot, with lots of canine (and Big Frog\/human) smiles.<\/p>\n

On June 28, Shannon and Brian will support the Rainbow Society of Alberta\u2019s 7 in 7 Ultra Endurance Charity Run<\/a> with t-shirts and other gear. Granting wishes to sick children ages three to 18 since 1986, Shannon and Brian\u2019s support of the Rainbow Society fits their focus on children\u2019s causes but also on health and fitness, other priorities front and center in their lives.<\/p>\n

Their Edmonton shop opened in August 2021 with a foundational, community give back mantra \u2013 they\u2019ve supported Stollery Children\u2019s Hospital fundraisers and currently have an initiative to help Ukraine humanitarian efforts, something near and dear to their hearts, since Shannon\u2019s great grandparents immigrated to Canada from West Ukraine in 1900 and the family has a homestead in Vegreville, Alberta, a large Ukrainian community.<\/p>\n

Small Business Supports Other Small Businesses<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The local t-shirt printer, which specializes in Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing<\/a>, also participated in the brand\u2019s \u201cShop Local All the Way\u201d campaign<\/a>, a grassroots marketing movement to amplify how small businesses help rebuild local economies, and support the community with other give-back initiatives.<\/p>\n
